BUSINESS OF ACTING
FAQs or Chicken Soup
Because I'm often asked questions that don't require a full column to answer, I decided to put some of them together. Presto! Six hundred fifty words well spent.

Confronting 'Isms'
In my last column, I responded to a letter from a woman who complained of always being treated in a very sexist way by men with whom she tries to network. She asked what she could do differently.

One Reason I Don't Read "The Trades"
My neighbor gave me her trade magazines yesterday. She wasn't going to get to them this week, so she felt I should read them in the meantime. She has forever been trying to convince me that I should be "more...

Consistency Is Key

Scanning BarCodeGate
The letters/statements/internal emails we???ve all been waiting for are out for all to see. I deliver the goods, followed by my knee-jerk reaction and what the guy who ignited BarCodeGate thinks. Is this what my mother meant when she advised me not to hang out in bars with strange men? Poor Ma, that ship set sail long ago.

'The Women' get empowered
It could be the next "Sex and the City," unless it's the next "First Wives Club." "The Women," which has been bumping around in development for more than a decade through myriad director and A-list actress shifts, premiered last night...
